Please Pray For Kenya

Kenyans will vote in referendum on a new constitution. Already hundreds of people are moving away from main towns, fearful that rival tribes could launch attacks.

I personally can't vote since I'm in America but I'm choosing to stand in the gap and pray for peace. The tribal war that broke out in end of 2007 & early 2008 still has left hearts broken, many undivided and alot were killed including family and friends and many left homeless.

What is important is not just the mere outcome of the vote, but the Kenyans remains one -united, indivisible and committed to driving forward the reform agenda towards the creation of a stable, peaceful and prosperous nation.

For those who are voting, vote not for yourself, but for the fututre, embrace those who disagree with you for your country's sake.

I pray for God's presence to reign over Kenya and peace(john14:27) and every spirit of distraction, and not of the Lord to be broken in Jesus name. May God's will be done. Amen

(thank you for each and every individual that has prayed for my country)
